Services start at 10AM so if you arrive at 9:45 AM, that would give you an opportunity to connect with others, grab a cup of coffee, and find a great seat.
Services are approximately 75 minutes in length.
There is parking available behind the church building and a back-door entrance right there too. From there, an usher will guide you to the fellowship hall for a "cup-o-joe" or upstairs to the auditorium where you may find your spot in an available pew.
If the back parking lot is full, you may find overflow parking across the road at our Youth Center building or at the Guys Mills Post Office right next door. From there, you may enter the main door at the front of the church building.
They are located on the lower level next to the fellowship hall when you enter the church in either the front or rear entrance. Just look for signs. :)
Absolutely yes, feel free to bring your coffee and grab a bagel or donut to make yourself right at home.
During Sunday morning services, our staffed Nursery is available for infants to 3 years old upstairs. Our Children's Church ministry is for ages 3-Grade 5. Children are dismissed for Children's Church, held downstairs during our worship celebration.
Some of our weekly small group gatherings also offer childcare or children's programming. Please reach out to the small group leaders or call the church office at 814-789-4887 for more information about accommodations for children.
Come as you are! As long as your body is modestly covered, you may wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable in a social setting. Just be comfortable in casual attire.
We gather at 10 AM for fellowship, worship and teaching time. Often there is coffee and donuts or pastries available prior to the service. Bulletins are available to help inform you of our prayer concerns, upcoming events, announcements and service notes, etc. The sanctuary seating has cushioned pews with Bibles and hymnals handy, a "Connection Card" and pens for your convenience. The service begins with a warm welcome, announcements, and corporate prayer. Then we sing songs of praise to God. Pastor Bill Cox or another man/woman of God will also share a word of biblical truth, encouragement and edification. Early in the service the children will be dismissed with their Sunday School teachers to experience their own age-appropriate fellowship & teaching time.
Yes, there is a livestream on Sunday mornings where you can watch the service, or you can watch older messages by clicking on the messages tab of our website.

We believe God's grace is sufficient. Even though we are weak, God's power & love is expressed by His grace through the faith of our members. Guys Mills Church address very real and relevant issues that face our community & beyond. This list touches on just a few...
The generosity of the people of the church helps create opportunities for others to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus. There is no greater impact we could make together, as we pool our resources for this purpose.
Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." ~Malachi 3:10 NIV

Serving is a vital part of growing in our relationship with Jesus and others. In fact, when Jesus came to this earth to provide a way for our sins to be forgiven, he came as a servant. He was willing to lay down his life as the greatest act of servanthood the world has ever seen. He calls us to that same kind of life and once told his disciples that, "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." You may read this verse in context in the book of Matthew 20:25-28.
